Just when you thought it was safe to never check this webpage... ever... EVER again...
Well hello there, strangers! Where have you all been? I've been looking for you everywhere (just kidding)!
Sorry I haven't updated in awhile. Well, this proves the Theory of Relativity - I could have sworn it was only 5 or 6 months since my last bio page...
As you may have heard, I'm taking a little time off to rest and refresh and pay attention to those other parts of life which have been sorely neglected, and do a bit of traveling (I promise not to use the "h" word).
In the meantime, I've gathered up some bits and bobs relating to last year's never ending tsunami ( ) of activity. These photos represent a mere fraction of our many and sundry misadventures around the globe.
And so, without further ado, submitted for your approval...
JAPAN

What could we have possibly done to make these people SO darn happy?!! But seriously folks, isn't this the most adorable audience you've ever seen?! It may be possible that the Bangles have the bitchenest fans on the planet!

GAY PRIDE PARADE 2003
Being tickled (!) by one of the notorious Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. (Gosh - I look SO straight!)

"I love my gay dog!"
SUNSET STRIP PREMIERE
Having the pleasure of sharing Rodney Bingenheimer's special night at the first screening of the Mayor of the Sunset Strip. For any Runaways fans lurking reading the webpage, I'd be interested to know what you thought about the film, especially the film editor's treatment of Cherie Currie. A bit of a cheap shot, I thought.

Once the film was over, the theater lights came back up and everybody got down to the REAL business at hand... getting into the aftershow party! ...Where I found myself rubbing elbows with the lovely "and" talented Mr. Gale Harold. Made my night, actually...
AIDS WALK 2003

A good time was had by all, minus a few blisters, and a bit of sunburn. Amongst the luminaries present was Mr. Hal Sparks, who was refreshingly sweet-natured and friendly. (What is it with these Queer As Folk guys? They seem to be everywhere!)
...And sometime during 2003 I think I went back...
HOME
(I must have, because I've got these pictures to prove it)
A super low tide on the north coast - tidepool critters galore! No - that is not a Hobbit. That's my good neighbor Jim, hunting for abalone amongst the rocks...

But then, all too soon, I was flung back into the Doll Revolution maelstrom with... television appearances!
LATE NIGHT WITH CRAIG KILBORN

(And the 2003 Artie Fufkin award goes to...)
"After all that excitement and adventure, I think I need a little rest."

Let's talk soon!
Love,
