|  |  |  | INTREPID BANGLEREPORTER GRACIE DISHES THE MAY DIRT ON THE GOINGS-ON IN BANGLEONIA
It's the lusty month of May (at least according to Lerner and Loewe, it is), and Camp Bangle is buzzing with activity as the band gears up for their string of summer dates, as well as concert appearances at the Los Angeles Pride Festival and the Revlon Run/Walk for breast cancer research. In addition to raising money for a great cause, members of Team Bangles Run/Walk Like An Egyptian will get a private meet n greet with the band after their post-show concert!
Speaking of getting up close and personal with the gurls - on Saturday, May 6, the Bangles played a benefit concert for the Silverlake Independent Jewish Community Center and raised the roof with a slew of young fans. And on the topic of young wanna-be rockstars, eagle-eyed Variety readers caught last month's announcement that Vicki and Susanna will be joining forces with Kathy Valentine and Charlotte Caffey of the Go-Gos to develop a new reality show which will discover and launch America's next top girl band! Dust off those drumkits, baby Banglers - your moment to shine may be on its way!... and in the meantime, aspiring contestants can brush up their musical skills by catching the Lamps at Tangiers in Silverlake on the 9th!
